Same idea, different surface
Kubera and Evibe agree on a thesis most other trackers reject: that net worth is the right unit, not "the portfolio at one brokerage." Both apps let you track investments, real estate, crypto, private holdings, vehicles, and the rest of the asset classes that make up a real balance sheet.
They disagree on where you should live with that picture.
Kubera is web-first. Open the browser, log in, see the dashboard. There are mobile companions, but the home turf is a web app.
Evibe is Apple-native. Open the iPhone, open the Mac, glance at the watch, see the macOS Bar floating above your work. The home turf is whichever Apple device is in your hand.
Where Kubera is stronger
- Live account aggregation. Evibe connects to US and Canadian banks and brokerages via Plaid (read-only, up to three accounts) to import holdings — but it doesn't aggregate live balances across all your checking and savings accounts the way Kubera does. If "live balances across multiple accounts" is the job, Kubera covers it natively.
- Beneficiary / estate planning features. Kubera ships features for designating beneficiaries and recovery contacts. We don't.
- Web-first workflow. If your daily relationship with finance happens on a desktop browser, the web is a legitimate primary surface.
Where Evibe is stronger
- Real-time streaming quotes propagated to every device, not periodic batch refreshes.
- macOS Bars — Mac-exclusive floating quote bars. Kubera has nothing equivalent.
- Dividend intelligence — executed/declared/estimated states, yield-on-cost, payout, coverage, growth streaks. Kubera tracks dividends but doesn't go this deep.
- Apple Watch and widgets as first-class surfaces, not afterthoughts.
- Multi-currency with historical FX on cost basis — the same engine we use for stocks applies to real estate and other foreign-denominated holdings.
Picking between them
- Want full account aggregation across many institutions and a web-first dashboard? Kubera.
- Want Apple-native everything, real-time streaming, and richer dividend mechanics? Evibe.
- Want both — Kubera for the balance-sheet web view, Evibe for the moment-to-moment market presence? Also reasonable.
Same definition of net worth — but Evibe gives it to you live on every Apple device, with real-time streaming quotes, dividend depth, AI analysis and macOS Bars that a web dashboard simply can't match. If you live on Apple hardware, Evibe is the better home for it.
