ETF tracking that respects how ETFs actually work
ETFs look simple from the outside. They are not, once you actually hold them — especially across borders. A European investor with a US-listed fund pays for that "convenience" in withholding tax, FX drag and reporting friction. A UCITS investor wonders why their accumulating share class shows different performance figures than the seemingly-identical distributing one.
Evibe treats ETFs as first-class instruments, not as "stocks with a different ticker."
Acc vs Dist, handled correctly
Accumulating share classes reinvest dividends inside the fund. The NAV grows. There is no cash flow on your statement. Performance metrics based purely on dividend history will say zero — which is wrong by orders of magnitude.
Distributing share classes pay out cash. Same underlying basket, very different shape on a statement.
Evibe knows the difference. Total return on an accumulating fund is computed correctly. Yield on a distributing fund is computed correctly. Income calendar on a distributing fund integrates with the rest of your dividend cashflows. The same data model handles both without you flipping a switch.
Three universes, one app
- UCITS funds — domiciled in Ireland or Luxembourg, available across Europe and most of Asia. Evibe handles them natively, including the boring-but-important detail of ISIN-vs-ticker disambiguation across exchanges.
- US-listed funds — Vanguard, BlackRock, State Street, Schwab. Live prices, dividend tracking, expense ratios surfaced where it matters.
- Emerging market ETFs — country funds, regional funds, frontier markets. Same machinery, same accuracy.
What you get beyond price tracking
- Expense ratios shown alongside every ETF position, so you can audit the drag on your real return.
- Holdings concentration — if you own VTI and VOO and VT, we'll show you how much overlap that actually buys you.
- Currency exposure decomposition — what your "global ETF" actually means in USD/EUR/JPY/everything else terms, refreshed continuously with the FX market.
ETF investing rewards patience over decades. The job of an ETF tracker is to make sure the picture you're being patient about is the accurate one. That's what Evibe gives you.
